There is a new league opening up. Mostly in Boisbriand, but reasonable prices. Too far for me.

Thanks for the heads up on MHL. I Contacted DWHL about seeing how a single could get placed on a team but never heard back. I have a bunch of friends who play but none of them want to start a team for summer league. As for those pickup games, i work during the day so they are really out. If i do get to start up a sunday afternoon pickup game at LCC i'll post it on here for people.

You know what.. after last nights fiasco. Forget the MHL, i really think they're slowly getting flushed down the toilet.
Last night, after losing their privileges to play in Pierrefonds they've been moved to Boisbriand, and now last night for all their games, the Referees all decided to go on strike. (because they weren't paid).  So at least 3 games that i know of were ruined (Playoff games)
Stick with DWHL, i'm not sure if they have a free agent team. But they might think of it after all the MHL people jump ship and join the DWHL.
For Shinny Hockey, so many rinks have shinny but during the day. The best times is probably here _http://www.sportplexe.ca/act_hl-eng.html  (4Glaces,Pierrefonds).
Most of the guys there are good too, obviously alot of puck hogs, but still fun anyways. Also there Bonaventure Arena. But that's only good if u work a night job.

How is the MHL? I always see it listed but never played yet. Also, where do you normally get shinny games in? I'm working on getting Sunday afternoons at Lower Canada College rink starting May 1st.

There are FreeAgent teams that i've been playing with for the MHL.
If not i've just joined the shinny games.
